Burrata is a creamy cheese made from fresh cow's milk, similar to mozzarella, but softer and sweeter, and is a typical Italian product. It looks like a pasta filata envelope, but its main characteristic only comes out after the first cut: the Apulian burrata contains a creamy heart of stracciatella, which is the result of mixing the frayed paste of this cheese with 100% Italian cream.
