The history of Kiwi was born in China more than 700 years ago, where it was already appreciated for its delicious taste and emerald pulp at the court of the Great Khan. The rest of the world began to know it only in the 19th century when a Royal British Horticultural Society collector sent some fruits and seeds home. It arrived in Italy in the 70s, and today, thanks to its climate and the passion of its farmers, it is the second-largest producer in the world.
