Our journey continues at the CIBUS 2021 trade show, in Parma, Italy, with another simple salad recipe. By mixing a few healthy ingredients you will obtain a crunchy black wholegrain rice salad coated in a vegan, seitan-based tomato sauce. A healthy, vegan, gluten-free main dish full of powerful health benefits, black rice indeed does not only look pretty but is full of antioxidants... consider that it has been used for hundreds of years in traditional Chinese medicine. INGREDIENTS for 2 people: • buononaturale ORGANIC Black Nerone rice 150g; • buononaturale ORGANIC Tomato sauce with seitan 190g. PROCEDURE: 1. Bring 1.5 liters of water to the boil and pour in the buononaturale ORGANIC Black Nerone rice; 2. Cook your rice; 3. Add a half glass of water to a separate pot and pour in the buononaturale ORGANIC Tomato sauce with seitan; 4. Heat the sauce up for a few minutes; 5. Add extra-virgin olive oil after removing the cooked rice from the heat and mix it; 6. Plate up your Black rice Pilaf; 7. Add your tomato sauce with seitan; 8.
