The traditional recipe of Savoiardone di Sardegna (the name deriving from the big size of the biscuit) hasn’t changed for centuries as a symbol of authenticity, thanks to the lack of any preservatives or chemicals. The biscuit is prepared using only three Italian ingredients, including free-range chicken eggs (50%), sugar, and flour, and presents a distinctive softness compared to the other regional savoiardi. Studied for preparing the most known dessert in the world: tiramisu!
