Kiros is a variety (registered in the European variety register) that largely contributes to the production of the San Marzano DOP tomato from the Sarnese Nocerino area. The fruits are gathered in clusters of 5 or 6 or even more, immature they have the “typical” green shoulder, when ripe they are of an intense and uniform red color with an elongated shape with the presence of two lateral dimples.
